Throughout the play, Hamlet makes it very clear that he isn’t okay with the marriage of his mother and uncle. ![]() Not only does the Queen remarry to soon (in Hamlet’s perspective) but out of all the men in the world she chose to marry King Claudius which also happens to be Hamlets uncle. Shortly after his father’s death, his mother (Queen Gertrude) remarries. Hamlet returns to Denmark after the death of his father. Hamlet is the son of Queen Gertrude and Old King Hamlet.
